‘Mr P from HR’ is an interactive drag king performance, taking audiences down “recruitment road” and welcoming them to their induction day of their new job at the luxury department store ‘Gayrods’ (pronounced 'Gah-rods', not 'Gay-rods'... that would be absurd). Mr P has written songs for the amazing new sales team, as well as quizzes, lip-syncs and an introduction into the store they will soon call home! We're all family now, so strap-on in to discover all the secrets lying beneath the tunnels running under the store’s shiny floors. 

This show is not only a creative expression but also a relevant and timely exploration of a critical societal issue. Written and starring Izzy Kate Ward. Directed by Laura Masters.

Izzy Kate Ward (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist and actor from North West London. Having just graduated from the Oxford School of Drama, she is constantly seeking inspiration from her many side hustles and drawing on current topics in media and beyond. Her female drag persona Coco D'Hole has been living and breathing as London's sexiest misandrist for past two years. She favours dark comedy and wishes to continue to pursue this in her acting and performance career.
