metamodernists in love
Two short interactive plays with live music
- 'Contemporary Myth' is about a girl who decides to have a child with a man from each Territory to finally stop all the wars.
- ‘Metamodernists in Love' is the result of 30 interviews with people who were brave enough to answer uncomfortable questions about their love lives. People feel confused about the place of "love" within the values and lifestyle of a contemporary person - free, changing and developing. We continue the research during the show, asking the audience about their experiences.
ACTOR 1. How are you?
ACTOR 2. I’m ok, why?
ACTOR 1. I wanted to check something: how do you feel about me?
ACTOR 2. I don't know yet; we've only met a couple of times for rehearsals.
ACTOR 1. Right, but in general - do you like me?
Actor 2 looks around for support.
ACTOR 1. Because if you did, it would help a lot with our process. You know, all these lines, blah blah blah... What we really need for this piece to make sense, is to share the right energy.

ACTOR 2. I love you.
