Melting
21st & 22nd February
The unavoidable tragedy of the melting woman.
Anna is melting.
Adam celebrates it as proof of her love.
Richia finds her drops delicious.
The doctors are tired.
Anna keeps vanishing, and we watch.
We would have expected humankind to react urgently when watching their most precious thing melting away, but surprisingly, most of us, as Adam admits in tears, ‘got used to it’.
After showcasing her new original play at The Bush Theatre Studio, Golan brings Melting’s extended version to the FreshFest stage.
Testimonies:
“The dynamic between Anna and Adam really got under my skin… we get a series of really phenomenal images delivered through an unbearably difficult, cruel, sad satire of modern capitalist patriarchy.”
“I was completely blown away by the show- really really impressed. Wonderfully dark edged comedy. Clever, funny and heartfelt.”
“Utterly brilliant! I felt like I was in Anna’s dream and couldn’t escape.”
