CRYSTAL CLEAR
DEVISED BY PHIL YOUNG
"YOU CAN'T SEE ME. YOU'RE NOT SEEING ME. ALL YOU'RE SEEING IS MY BLINDNESS."
Art-dealer Richard is beginning to lose his sight. Evading issues with his health and his long-term girlfriend, Jane, Richard finds himself drawn to Thomasina, a poised and enigmatic blind woman. He’s even willing to tidy his over-stuffed flat for her. But when his condition abruptly deteriorates, Richard and Thomasina’s intense connection is strained to the limit and his relationship with Jane collapses.
Crystal Clear is a heart-rending love story about coping with drastic change. White Deer Theatre present a moving revival of Phil Young’s 1982 play in an intimate and immersive setting."
