15th & 16th February

Meet Carys and Glyn – an unconventional couple scrambling to salvage the tattered remains of their relationship from the brink of oblivion. To their horror, all attempts at reconciliation land them on a turbulent rollercoaster through buried secrets, devious betrayals, and barrel rolls into a whole other dimension. Little do they know, at every twist and turn, revenge lies in wait.

Fractured by the death of a loved one, they choose to unearth the past to save their future, but soon discover that some stones should be left unturned. As they freefall through previous relationships, and experiences which have left their mark, they awaken an entity hell bent on tearing them to pieces.

A dark comedy written in lockdown, Free Spirit takes the audience firmly by the hand and adventures far from the headaches of everyday life. Ambitious in its staging requirements, we present the story to you for the first time as a stripped-back festival take - brimming no less with fun and a little madness. Welcome to a world so very similar to our own, with moral ambiguity bubbling beneath the surface, and human weakness watched by a shadow from afar.
