Almost instinct almost true

A new play about the poet Philip Larkin, his lover Monica Jones and her adoring student ,Tommy.

It explores whether or not it's true that' what will survive of us is love ' and what we do when we find out our idols have feet of clay. From playing the Queen in the BBC drama about Larkin  -  LOVE AGAIN - Julia Munrow now plays his long-suffering girlfriend , Monica Jones.

Monica and her friend, Tommy, played by Teddy Walker (THE CROWN) unite in a bitter comedy about loving someone who can never love you back

★★★★ Daniel Pereira - Broadway Baby

'What a wonderfully complex relationship this is! It’s refreshing to watch a show that engages so tactfully with the nuances of age, gender, sexuality, class and political leanings in a way that feels authentic and recognisable, and not a tick-box exercise... with moments of lyricism , connection and surprising political relevance'

'Highly recommended show - A rich seam of material to delve into - it's a great play!'  Donald Stewart: Edinburgh Fringe Review
